JoLynn and David paid a brief visit to China Camp in Marin County recently.

It was a misty moisty day and the quiet was very comforting.

David and JoLynn took a quick trip into JapanTown in San Francisco to have some sushi.

JoLynn had been sorting a few old photographs and found some of her cousin James. We remembered a visit with him when he seemed to eat his weight in sushi. We were most impressed. The only thing that has changed about this place is the prices. The sushi is still as great as it has always been.

Emma Taylor and James Coxon were married on Saturday 23rd August, 2008 in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. These are a selection of the shots that David and JoLynn took over the course of the celebration. Good luck and best wishes were extended by all who attended.

The ceremony and the reception were held at the Saracen’s Head Hotel, which dates back to the 1400’s. There was much fun and some of the pictures at the end are taken in “disco” light.

It was a great pleasure to meet Emma and James’ extended family with representatives of four generations attending.

If you see any captions with ?? and you know that person’s name, please email the information to davidt (at) detayls (dot) com. Thanks!

Cassidy Rose Clancy Lang graduated from Drake High School in San Anselmo on Friday 13th June, 2008. Her family and friends were there to lend their support.

She looked radiant in her gown and traditional mortar board. We send her our congratulations!

Afterwards the entire crew went to Jeanni and Chris’s for a party.

We took a wonderful trip to the Black Hills in 1998 with our parents. Here are some of the pictures from when we stopped in Yellowstone and the buffalo came past.

They seemed fairly unconcerned with our presence and just moseyed on along.

On a different day we stopped at a Prairie Dog town and spent some time just hanging with them.

As a continuing part of the project with the film scanner, here are some cute shots of a visit from my sister, Barbara, and her family in 1998. Her husband, Mark, and kids Lisa and Robert are just old enough now to be embarrassed by these snaps.

As I remember it we all went to the company Barbeque at McNear’s Beach in Marin. Lisa was bold enough to go in the water while we all stayed dry and shouted words of encouragement.

On a different day we all went to a small fair in Fairfax, near where we live.

There al also a few shots of our back yard. Back then we still had grass! Click on the picture to see the rest of the shots.
