Anna and Michelle created a wonderful “stand up” comedy club at SL on April Fool’s Day.

Everyone was encouraged to try their pitch and it was great fun.

Katherine won for best delivery and David Moody for best joke but the competition was very close.

Thanks also to Katherine for the loan of her camera.

Ed Koo took a lot of semi-formal group shots after our meeting and lots of great shots at the lunch. Nina contributed her own pictures from the lunch. These images are very well done and will be treasured by the staff at SL. They are probably less exciting for other visitors to this site but at least you can tell we are a happy and fun bunch of people.

This year Sherrill-Lubinski celebrated the 25th anniversary of its founding with a grand dinner at Cavallo Point Lodge in Marin County just under the Golden Gate Bridge.

We were all feted with many stories of the past 25 years and presented with awards.

Tom gave us a great speech where he remembered the people who helped grow the company. In particular, we all raised our glasses to Peter Sherrill, who passed away several years ago. He would have loved to see us all now and enjoyed our common success.

Here’s to another great 25 years!

Here are some great pictures of the staff at SL that were taken when we had a recent company meeting. Don’t you just love those happy faces?

Katherine organized a meal and comedy show outing for us in Mill Valley at the Throckmorton Theater for Mark Pitta and Friends Comedy Night.

In all eleven of us went along: Mary, Mike and Lisa, Mehran, Katherine and Gustavo, Katherine’s sister, Kristen, Nina and Harry and David and JoLynn.

The meal at La Ginestra was excellent and the comedy was very funny. David was even picked to be an “invited member of the audience” and participated in a demonstration of “Looping” with another audience member. Check out the last two items in the album for video of his stunning comedy debut! (Broadband internet connection is advised.)

This month at SL we celebrated our office’s diverse nationalities. We each brought a dish, appetizer or dessert that represented our country of origin or family heritage.

There were some fabulous offerings and we even had Mary’s special “exploding” Swiss Fondue!

Ed Koo shared photographer duty with David so David even appears in a couple of places. (Thanks, Ed!) Sorry for the red eye in a couple of shots. These pictures were not edited in any way.

Thanks to everyone who participated in today’s first annual SL pumpkin carving event. There was stiff competition and we were thrilled to see everyone’s creativity. Michelle and Anna had a difficult job in deciding who the winners should be.

Michael Kairys came to visit us in Marin. He lives in Michigan and works for SL so he makes about three trips a year out to see us and discuss “stuff” about work. This was a rare moment when we could all relax.

Anna and Michelle did it again! They arranged a great party for St. Patrick’s Day, complete with quizzes, prizes and great green food.

The Leprechauns lost the quiz but everyone had a great time. We even had a visit from our own personal Leprechaun called Natalie.

SL held the annual staff Christmas Party at Poggio’s in Sausalito this year.
